| On Saturday October 2nd, 2010 Humble Noon Lions Club Foundation will host the 9th Annual Humble ChiliFest and Car Show |
| The Humble Noon Lions Club Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, will be presenting the Annual Humble Chilifest and Car Show. Now in it's eighth year, the Chilifest has become a popular, family oriented event that we are very excited to host. |
| The motto of the Lions Club is "We Serve". The Humble Noon Lions Club, established in 1983, fulfills this mission in many ways. Our main project is to provide free eye exams and if needed, free glasses, to any child in the Humble Independent School District who is financially needy. In just the last year, over 200 children have participated in this program at a cost exceeding $18,000.00. We hope the Chilifest will provide us with much needed funds as well as an opportunity to give our community a great way to spend the day. |

| All sponsorship levels include a Chili Team Booth. A Sponsor form is available on this site which outlines the different sponsor levels. Team and individual booths are available at $100. We hope you will consider being a part of this year's Chilifest and supporting the Humble Noon Lions Club's efforts to improve the life and sight of our area children. All donations are tax exempt. |
| Each Cooking Team will be expected to bring (or prepare on site) at least 10 pounds of Chili which will be served to the public in tasting cups beginning at 11 am and ending at 3 pm. The chili for judging must be made entirely on site and be ready for judging at 1 pm. There will be trophies for the top 3 winners. |
| Proceeds from entry fees and sale of tasting cups will benefit the Humble Noon Lions Club Foundation. |
